About Me

As you probably gathered from my blog title, I am a very busy mom to a 15-month-old adorable little boy. I work at a very quickly-growing pharmaceutical services company north of Boston; I've learned a lot working at this fast-paced, FDA-regulated organization.

My husband and I are both from Maine and our families still live there, so we're interested in moving back there again soon - we have some grandparents in the family desperately missing their little grandson!

Of course my master's program at BU takes up a significant amount of time and although I'm anxious to complete the coursework and officially achieve my master's degree, generally I've really been enjoying my courses and the online format. I actually can't imagine obtaining my degree with a traditional (non web-based) structure - I don't think I'd ever find time in my life to go to a class in-person. The online structure allows me to do much of the coursework late at night after the little one has hit the hay.

I'm loving the weather right now. Fall is definitely my favorite season, but I have to say I'm not thrilled about the almost six months of wintry cold that follow. Another fun and interesting aspect of this season/year is that it is election time. I enjoy following the debates and campaign coverage, particularly this year in this history-making election.

Hi Sarah,

I too love the autumn. Fall in New England is beautiful. The temperature is just right. The sky is so blue. And the color...simply vibrant. I hope you and your baby can enjoy a pumpkin patch or hay ride during this busy time.

It sounds like you have been in Boston long enough to know that winter doesn't quite last the six months Maine has. I think Boston is only five and a half months.

Let's enjoy this weather while we can.
